ITS Sponsored Workshop: Catalytic Materials by Design
University of Notre Dame -- January 27-30, 2010 Learn more >> Press Release
Catalysis is at the forefront of new technologies for energy production, energy conversion, pollution abatement, and synthetic materials manufacturing, and the need for systematic, rational strategies to develop new catalysts from fundamental principles has never been greater. In this workshop, we explored a variety of forefront approaches to searching for new catalytic materials, ranging from combinatorial strategies to ab initio-based screening. We also established collaborative networks to facilitate the dissemination of these ideas in the broader scientific community.
